Go Juliette go!

This is Juliette Riddall. She’s distant family which was discovered by my grandfather and granduncle by doing some family tree research. She used to live in Melbourne, Australia, but recently moved to London, UK.

Yesterday my grandparents, parents and myself donated some money for sponsoring her during the NEW YORK MARATHON on Sunday. Money will go to “Get Kids Going!” to help disabled children take part in sport by providing specialist sports wheelchairs.

These were her words during her last mail:

I did the truro half marathon on 20/9 in 2.5 hours- its really hilly and didnt stop! I did 20 miles 3 weeks ago in 3 hours 45 mins and Ive been plagued with injured calf muscles so have learnt a heap about pain control!! Anyway at present am nursing second injured calf and have been banned from running until the day and have been swimming instead- but am still going to run and am determined to get round the course- if I can do 20 miles I can do 26! and who says you cant swim your way to fitness for a marathon!

Will she make it? Fingers crossed & thumbs up!
